Prices will be agreed and payment taken in advance of all sessions.
We are unable to take payments directly from insurance companies. If you wish to pay with insurance we recommend that you pay us and then claim back the money from the insurers yourself.
GENERAL ENQUIRIES AND PRELIMINARY DISCUSSIONS – FREE
- 15 minute wellbeing phone call to discuss your concerns about your child’s talking and how we can help.
ASSESSMENTS
Initial assessment and report – £275
- Individual (1:1) appointment.
- Up to 90 minutes of case history and assessment, including observations while you and your child play, followed by discussion of needs and recommendations. A formal or informal assessment will be administered depending on the age and needs of your child.
- Case history can be carried out remotely if desired.
- A detailed report of findings and advice will be sent securely via email to yourself and relevant stakeholders (with your consent).
- If additional time is needed this will be charged at the hourly rate of £66 per hour.
Review assessment and either summary or report – £82.50 or £180
- This option would typically be appropriate for families who have finished a block of therapy some weeks prior and would like a review of their child’s progress.
- 1:1 appointment.
- Up to 45 minutes typically including discussion of case history, observations during free play, discussion of needs, and recommendations. Either a formal or informal assessment will be administered during this session depending on the age and needs of your child.
- Either a basic summary or detailed report of findings and advice will be sent securely via email to yourself and relevant stakeholders (with your consent).
THERAPY – £66 or £82.50 per session (depending on length of face to face appointment)
- Includes: 30 or 45 minute face to face therapy appointment (depending on age and needs of your child), as well as non face to face time spent block planning, session preparation, resource making and writing up after the session.
- Either 1:1 or group therapy. The length and type of sessions will be discussed and agreed with you in advance and based on your child’s age and needs.
- Goals will be set with you during the first session. Please note this first session may be parent-only depending on the nature of the therapy recommended.
REPORT WRITING (not including EHCP) – £130
- A typical detailed report takes approximately 2 hours.
- Includes a thorough discussion of your child’s strengths and needs; either specific assessment findings or progress made towards goals; and advice for further therapy and/or recommendations for home/nursery/school.
- Includes discharge reports. (Discharge will be discussed and agreed with you in advance and usually based on your child achieving the goals and/or you feeling confident to support your child’s communication at home).
OTHER SERVICES – all generally charged at the standard rate of £66 per hour (or pro rata based on 15 minute increments)*
Please note that minor communication, such as confirming appointment details, will not be charged. Chargeable services include, but are not limited to:-
FOR PARENTS
- Observations of your child at nursery or school. Includes discussion with key worker or teacher and a short summary of findings emailed to you and relevant stakeholders (with your consent).
- Significant liaison with other professionals involved in your child’s care (with your consent), such as telephone calls, emails, meetings or visits.
- Attendance at multi-disciplinary meetings regarding your child (with your consent).
FOR PROFESSIONALS
- Training of nursery, school and health service staff on a variety of topics.
- Parent or staff workshops.
- Health promotion events: the nature of which can include discussions with parents from a stall (to be provided by event organiser), a presentation or a Q&A discussion. Includes times spent preparing resources.
- School or nursery commissions to support children within your setting – Service Level Agreements.
*Prices above reflect services offered within a 5 mile radius of Huntingdon PE29. Travel to appointments outside of this range will be considered on a per appointment basis and, if undertaken, will incur an additional charge of 50p per mile.
